Hello and welcome from the Anaheim Convention Center! It's only Monday and already the place is abuzz with various shades of purple, smiling faces with "General Convention" badges swaying from their necks, and a feeling of excitement in the air. I met briefly with representatives from the national media crew to receive my media credentials, and when sharing that this was my first experience with General Convention, received the following words of wisdom: General Convention is like trying to drink from a firehose! Needless to say, I am still excited, although now wondering what on Earth is in store for me these next few days.
